Another perfect night, taken in June on the way back (or perhaps on the way to) the Rowardennan Hotel just ten minutes’ walk from Rowardennan Lodge. On the right is the jetty, where in the summer season three times a day a small boat ferries foot passengers to and from Inverbeg on the west side of the loch. The cloudscapes are beautiful here - partly because of the shelter afforded by the mountains on all sides of the loch and which make the area a microclimate.
