I love taking candids. Not because I want to put people at a disadvantage and catch them at an awkward angle; they’re taken with respect, because I want to capture the beauty of people just being themselves. The elegant way in which this young woman holds her hands while seated at a Parisian cafe table for instance, is too good an image not to capture.
